A Lesson From Coral Reefs
Before anything else, I am a student to nature
Processes in nature can teach a person many things
Nature demonstrates how we can all coexist beneficially
One role the coral reef plays in the ocean is filtering water
With a large mass of united coral, murky water can become clear
Through the combined efforts of many, visible change occurs
Many creatures depend on the role that coral is playing
Now imagine that we are living in a brackish sea
Where clear water clashes into the dark
Pain and suffering is the black ocean
What if we could all be coral?
